BYOD- Apollo Android App Install

Download the Apollo ELD App from the Android PlayStore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=apollo.hos&hl=en_US&gl=US&pli=1

Open the Apollo ELD App, and consent to the following permissions:

  1. Allow Apollo ELD to use your location data for ELD records: select "Agree"

  2. Allow Apollo ELD to use your location data: select "While Using the App"
    Please note: The App will ask you at a later time if you want to change this option to “Allow all the time” which is preferred by Apollo.

  3. Apollo ELD needs to use Bluetooth: select "Allow"

  6. Apollo ELD needs overlay permissions: select "Agree" and then toggle on apollo (e-Dash) ELD

To Log in: enter the login credentials you received from your Company ELD Admin.

Upon signing in, you will need to complete a few simple steps:

  1. Go to the "Vehicle Profile" screen to select the tractor and trailer, enter the tractor odometer, then select “Save”:

  2. Select “Scan” to search for the vehicle’s JBUS device. Select the correct device serial number and then choose “Continue”:

  3. Select “Run ELD Diagnostic” to confirm Apollo is connected to the JBUS device and receiving the correct ECM information:

  4. Select “Continue” to go to the Apollo Home Screen:
